Welcome to my celebrating success blog. Here you will find a record of my achievements and my reflections on how they are helping me to become a successful learner, confident individual, effective contributor, and a responsible citizen.
I went to Hoy in S2 with my class, we did actives such as canoeing, archery, and walking. We had to work as a team, solve problems, to complete the three day course.
I feel the course made me helped me to get to know some of the people abit better and to work and a team as you couldn't do many of the exercises by yourselves.
To help the environment, i have done bag the bruck both during school time and my own free time. I worked as part of a group to bag the bruck, we collected a bag of rubbish as a group. This has made my more environmentally aware, by relising how much rubbish we drop, and how it is affecting the environment.
In Drama, we did 'A lota chocolata'. We worked in groups to perform a scene from the play. We performed it in front of the class. I played the part of a servant called Colombina.
Drama, gave me the confidence to speak in front a large group , and we worked as group to put on the performance. The performance it's self was good fun.
I have completed and presented a few powerpoints. One was about hockey which I did last year in english, another one I did last year as well was high notes and high teas which we did as part of ACE week activities. And the last one is one we're doing in English as a talk on Margaret Thatcher.
I'm Eilidh, and I'm 14. I have lived in Orkney since I was four and I went to St. Andrews Primary, I now go to Kirkwall Grammar School. My favorite subjects are science, PE, and drama. I play hockey and netball. When I'm older i would like to go into medicine.
